Why did you decide to become a postpartum doula?

My own birth and mothering experiences greatly inspired me to become a doula. I realized first hand that it takes a village! I am passionate about helping birthing and postpartum families feel emotionally and physically supported so that they are able to navigate this transforming time in their lives with a little more comfort and ease.

What do you love most about supporting families in the postpartum period?

I love providing nurturing guidance and compassionate care to parents during this profound time in their lives so that they may experience greater confidence and joy in their new roles, and with their newborn baby. It is a great honor to witness their transformation and growth.

Why are you most excited to work at New Kind?

I am excited that more families can receive evidence-based information and compassionate, nurturing guidance wherever they live and whenever they need it most.

Your favorite thing about the work you do?

I love guiding parents during this profound time in their lives so that they may experience greater confidence and joy in their new roles, and with their newborn baby.
